While kanna is known for it's relaxing properties, there are actually a number of additional effects depending on the dosage and concentration. This UC extract contains sufficient active alkaloids to provide a surge of uplifting euphoria and mild inebriation.

Kanna UC extract contains a higher amount of the alkaloid mesembrine than other extracts, making this version much more potent! Mesembrine is responsible for the sedative effects all Sceletium tortuosum extracts are known for.

Without the energizing part of kanna which can make some feel slightly out of tune, this extract is really something else. Completely mellowing, and with the ability to make your surroundings funnier, kanna is nice to use in all sorts of circumstances. Enjoy the stress-reducing and relaxing buzz of this potent extract, but make sure you only take small amounts at once (however regular you like), or else a slight nausea could occur.

Kanna UC extract is best used as a snuff, the effects come up rapidly, are very intense, but don't last for a long time. Kanna UC2 on the other hand, is best mixed in with food. It’s slower to produce effect but the effects remain active longer.

    What is kanna?

Kanna is a South African narcotic plant also known as Sceletium Tortuosum. Its soothing sedative effect was discovered by the Hottentots (Khoikhoi) over 300 years ago. The tribesmen would chew, smoke or sniff kanna for pleasure and inebriation.

    Kanna UC extract - effects

Some of our test users reported a social buzz and an increased appreciation for 'the moment', either for a shared friendship or the beauty of nature, depending on the setting.

    Usage/dosage

Pure extract without plant material, with a higher concentration of mesembrine. Best ingested in a capsule.

There are several ways to consume this extract, but we recommend encapsulating. This can be easily done using one of our capsule machines. One gram is sufficient for 6 to 7 dosages at 150 mg per capsule.

    Warning

Sceletium tortuosum is a Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI). It should not be combined with other SSRI's (Seroxat, Prozac) or Mono Oxidase Inhibitors (MAO-I), such as Syrian Rue (Peganum harmala), Banisteriopsis Caapi, Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata), Yohimbe, and certain anti-depressants.
