    Usage

Steep a teaspoon in a cup of hot, but not boiling water. The tea has a bitter taste, which can hardly be avoided. It can be mixed with mint or anise leaves.

To make homemade absinthe put 40 grams of wormwood in half a liter of liquor for at least 2 weeks. After filtering, the drink is ready for use.

    Warning

In high doses wormwood is poisonous. Prolonged use can lead to addiction, as well as physical and mental damage. High doses can give nervousness, agitation, cramps, headaches and dizziness. An overdose can manifest as loss of consciousness, coma and death. After making absinthe, drink a small glass and wait about an hour for the effects. It is better to take too low a dose with no effects at all than too much. Do not drive motor vehicles under the influence of absinthe.
