When psilocybe cubensis B+ was first discovered, it was classified as a hybrid of psilocybe azurescens. It can sometimes develop caramel-colored caps similar to psilocybe azurescens, but the B+ strain is 100x100 cubensis.
One of the easiest strains to grow.
B+ is a very popular species, highly desired for its large fruits. Fruits measuring up to 35 cm (14″) were reported, with caps measuring up to 7.5 cm (3″) in subsequent blooms. There is nothing like this. Continually confused with Psilocybe azurescens for its versatile characteristics, it is also an original Psilocybe species.
Origin of the species: Unknown
Appearance: The hat (25-75 mm in diameter) can have any type of shape, usually a nice caramel color, but can also be made golden. The foot is a normal size. The blades are gray and then black with maturation.
